Quilts of Valor: Rebooted! Rescheduled! Reunited!

Hello Beautiful Golden Anchor Quilting Community,

It’s official—our rescheduled Quilts of Valor Mini-Retreat is happening June 27–29, 2025, and registration is now open on our website! Register HERE We are excited to share that 17 tops have already been completed! We are well on our way to our goal of 100 quilts!

After the unexpected pause during our flood recovery, and an uncooperative Mother Nature, we’re thrilled to reboot this incredible event, reschedule our weekend of service, and reunite with all of you to create quilts that honor and comfort veterans. This is more than a retreat—it’s a chance to sew with purpose and celebrate the strength of our community.

Retreat Details
Dates: June 27–29, 2025
Location: White River Junction VA Hospital – Conference Room
Hours:

• Friday & Saturday: 8:00 AM – Midnight

• Sunday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Come for a few hours or the full weekend—you’re welcome anytime. Whether you love to sew, press, prep, or support, we would love to have you there.

Registration is FREE, but you must complete checkout to reserve your space.
We’ve made it simple—there’s one registration process for all types of participation (sewing or helping at the retreat).

Want to help us get ready? Come cut kits and prep supplies for the retreat—no experience necessary! Just bring your energy and your rotary cutter if you have one.

We’re Still Accepting Donations!
To make as many quilts as possible, we welcome donations of patriotic-themed fabrics, batting, and backing. Every contribution helps us bring warmth and comfort to a veteran.

There are affordable hotels just across the street from the VA. Bring a friend, share a room, and make it a meaningful weekend getaway.
