Quilting Under The Same Sky 2 Day workshop - Wednedsay, December 3 and 10 10:30am - 4:30pm

Join us for a heartfelt quilting experience that stitches together creativity, connection, and color under the Same Sky.

Designed by Modernly Morgan, the Same Sky Quilt is a fat quarter and scrap-friendly pattern that creates a beautiful kaleidoscope of colors and stars. Blending both traditional and modern elements, it’s a quilt that celebrates how quilting connects generations, merging past and present in one luminous design.

This quilt also holds a deeply personal meaning. As the designer shares,

“Same Sky also holds a very special place in my heart as I originally created this pattern/quilt as a gift for my husband to take with him on his military assignment overseas. Though we may be separated by distance, we still sleep under the same sky.”

Guided by Anne Blackburn, you’ll make the Square Throw (60" x 60") version over two creative, inspiring days. Together, we’ll explore layout, color placement, and piecing techniques that let your stars shine. Lunch will be provided both days, so you can relax, sew, and connect with others under the same creative sky.

• Pattern: Same Sky by Modernly Morgan (available at Frank’s Bargain Center)

• Fabric Requirements (Square Throw)

  • 12 Fat Quarters (prints or solids)

  • 3 yards background

  • 4 yards backing

  • ? yard binding

Skill Level

Confident Beginner to Intermediate
(Basic quilting experience recommended—students should be comfortable with a ¼” seam and rotary cutting.)

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend the class, a refund will only be provided if you notify us at least 72 hours in advance by call or text, there is a waitlist, and we are able to fill your spot. Otherwise, a credit for a future class will be issued.
No refunds (only credits) are provided if you notify us less than 72 hours in advance.
If we need to cancel due to low enrollment (fewer than 3 students 72 hours prior), or for weather-related reasons, we will offer a rescheduled session or store credit.
