Hemingway Pouch - Tuesday, December 16 10:30am - 4:30pm

Join us for the Hemingway Pouch Class, featuring the gorgeous quilted zipper pouch pattern by Kristina Brinkerhoff of Center Street Quilts.

This stylish and practical pouch comes in four different sizes, perfect for holding everything from pens and eyeglasses to tablets and notebooks. You’ll learn how to quilt, bind, and install a zipper while making your own beautiful pouch. Choose your fabrics, create your quilted panel, and enjoy learning a technique you’ll use again and again for gifts, organization, or travel.

Each student will create one pouch during class, with the option to customize size and fabric combinations.

Included in Class

• Printed Hemingway Pouch pattern

• Fusible foam stabilizer (or batting)

• Instruction and use of classroom tools and thread

Fabric Requirements (for one pouch, you choose the size)

• Additional supplies: rotary cutter, ruler, clips or pins, marking pen (available at Frank’s Bargain Center)

Additional Details

• All fabrics, notions, and zippers available at Frank’s Bargain Center with a 15% class discount.

• Classroom sewing machines are available to rent for $10 (please let us know when you register, as machine rentals are limited).

• Standard GAQ cancellation policy applies.

Skill Details: Must know basic sewing and rotary cutting; zipper installation will be taught in class.

Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend the class, a refund will only be provided if you notify us at least 72 hours in advance by call or text, there is a waitlist, and we are able to fill your spot. Otherwise, a credit for a future class will be issued.
No refunds (only credits) are provided if you notify us less than 72 hours in advance.
If we need to cancel due to low enrollment (fewer than 3 students 72 hours prior), or for weather-related reasons, we will offer a rescheduled session or store credit.
