Whether you love bold prints, soft flannel, or something classic and simple, PJ pants or shorts are the ultimate sewing comfort project! In this make-and-take workshop, you'll learn how to sew your own pair from start to finish using a flexible, beginner-friendly pattern.

We’ll cover:

• How to measure and cut your fabric

• Basic garment construction

• Adding a waistband and elastic

• Finishing techniques that make your PJs comfy and durable

Choose between long pants or shorts, and bring any fabric that matches your mood—wild and funky or soft and subdued. This is a great class for first-time garment makers and a perfect buddy project for kids and adults to make together!

Kids ages 6+ are welcome. Adults making PJs for (or with!) a child are more than welcome too!

You’ll need:

• Cotton or Flannel Fabric

  Come see us before class with the size and length you wish to make and we will help you get the right amount of fabric!

• When we determine the size you wish to make we will show you what pattern to buy at Frank's Bargain Center

• Optional: Matching thread

We’ll provide:

• Machines and tools (or bring your own)

• Hands on Help

Skill Level: Beginner
No experience needed. Children must be able to follow directions and stay safe around machines and cutting tools.
