The Opportunity Tote

The opportunity tote is a design concept by Lynn Lagasse after making many different style bags. In this class you will make a tote bag, but you get lots of opportunities to make it unique, and to make it meet your needs! The basic tote is roomy, sturdy, and can be used to carry books, laptops, projects, really anything you'd like! The opportunities to make it work for you are about whether you want pockets, whether you want a single fabric outer tote or a different colored base, the handles can be stiff or flexible and vary in width.
We have this listed as an intermediate skill because it is not based on a "pattern" but rather is about learning the concepts around bag making. If you are a confident and adventurous beginner, we welcome you to try out this class!
Materials Needed will vary slightly based on design: We will share details when you register.
