The Great Stocking Class - October 29 OR November 2 - 11:00am - 4:30PM

Join Golden Anchor Quilting and instructor Lynne Grinsell to make this wonderful oversized stocking! Lynne has perfected this pattern and method over years of creating many of these, and she’ll share all her tips and tricks to make it an enjoyable project. You’ll complete one stocking in class and leave with the skills to make as many more as you wish.

These stockings are perfect for holiday décor and gifting—but don’t limit yourself to Christmas fabric! Choose fabrics that reflect the personality or interests of your loved ones to create a one-of-a-kind heirloom.

Fabric Requirements

• 1 5/8 yards for the main stocking

• 1 yard for the toe, heel, and cuff

• Optional trim for extra flair

• 1 5/8 yard single sided fusible fleece

Provided in Class

• Pattern template

• Use of classroom thread and tools

• Fabrics and batting can be purchased at Frank’s Bargain Center with a 15% discount when you pick up a coupon at GAQ.

• Classroom sewing machines are available to rent for $10.

Cancellation Policy: Refunds are issued only if you notify GAQ at least 72 hours in advance and your spot can be filled. Otherwise, a store credit will be issued. No refunds are given for cancellations made within 72 hours—only store credit. Classes with fewer than 3 students may be canceled, with credit offered. Weather-related cancellations will be rescheduled or credited.
