Jam Your Hearts Out Workshop
JAM your hearts out stands for "Just Add More" In JAM your hearts out workshop you will learn about the history, as well as the modern process of sharing and creating together across distances. All materials are included in this workshop! Just bring your favorite paper scissors and if you have a favorite adhesive for paper (like glue dots or scrapbooking tape runner etc) bring that with you!
Artist Trading cards are a collaborative culture performance art form created in 1997 by M. Vaci Estirneman. The basic premise is that one artist starts three 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" cards with embellishments, add their name and information to the back of the card, send it to the next artist, who adds more embellishements, and identifies their work, then on to a third person. Once the third artist has completed the cards, one is sent back to each of the other artists, and then they are enjoyed by all! Artists create, trade, and collect art at events in person, online, and through the mail.
This workshop includes lunch together, and the opportunity to join Mary's JAM your hearts out worldwide artist trading card group!
