Lone Star Starter Quilt

Lynn will teach us how to make a basic lone star quilt, the class is designed to make a 29 1/2 x 29 1/2 square. Just big enough to get the technique nailed down, and inspire us to explore all the fun designs that can be made with a lone star base. Have you seen the Eagle? Hummingbird? Sprial? Learning this technique really means that our imagination is our limit!

Class includes basic pattern and instruction as well as some additional pattern ideas. 

Materials (bring from your stash or get them at the shop for 10% off):

Jelly Roll (or 2 1/2" strips) You will use 9 strips for the size in the class)
1/2 yard background fabric
1/3 yard border fabric
1 yard for backing
1/3 yard for binding

Instructor Bio: Lynn Lagasse is fast becoming one of our community's favorite instructors! She has now taught our criss cross apron class twice, the tankini table runner, and has assisted with many other classes! She is excited to teach this Lone Star Starter because there is so much you can do with this pattern/technique once you learn the basic skill set!
