Cut Loose Press Gift Bag Class

Create a beautiful, functional tote bag that works up so quickly you won’t mind giving it away — or keeping one for yourself! This project is ideal for confident beginners and a great introduction to simple bag-making techniques. The finished bag features an exterior focus fabric, coordinating lining, and plenty of structure to hold its shape.

You are welcome to choose fabrics from Frank’s Bargain Center, and students receive 15% off their fabric purchases when you stop by Golden Anchor Quilting for your class coupon. We’re happy to help you select fabrics, or you may bring favorite fabrics from your stash at home.

Skill Level: Confident Beginner
Skill Details: Students should be comfortable operating a sewing machine and using a rotary cutter. No prior bag-making experience required.

Please plan to select your fabrics prior to class so we can start promptly.
Materials Needed:

• 1 1/4 yards outer fabric

• 1 yard lining and accent (for behind front pocket)

• 5/8 yard for inner pockets

All interfacing, stabilizer, and classroom tools are included with your registration. Our classroom provides cutting stations, threads, irons, and everything else you’ll need for a successful sewing day!

Cancellation Policy:
If you are unable to attend the class, a refund will only be provided if you notify us at least 72 hours in advance by call or text, there is a waitlist, and we are able to fill your spot. Otherwise, a credit for a future class will be issued.
No refunds (only credits) are provided if you notify us less than 72 hours in advance.
If we need to cancel due to low enrollment (fewer than 3 students 72 hours prior), or for weather-related reasons, we will offer a rescheduled session or store credit.
