All Inclusive Learn to Quilt - Weekday

Class will meet weekly at the designated times. Each of the 6 sessions is 3 hours in length.

This series of classes will include the anatomy of a sewing machine, the art of a consistent ¼” seam, basic rotary cutting skills, fabric selection, quilt piecing, and finally quilt binding. Between classes 5 and 6 we will long-arm your quilt top to batting and backing (terms you will learn in class). At the end of the 6 sessions you will take home your completed quilt ready to enjoy!! 

We have machines in the classroom available during class sessions in which we are sewing, or you can bring your own sewing machine that is in good working order. If you don’t know if your machine is in good working order, please bring it to the shop at least one week prior to the first class to be cleaned and serviced prior to the first class session. Your machine will also need to have a ¼” presser foot. If you don’t know what this is yet, it will be your best quilting buddy, but let us know what kind of machine you’ll be using and we will help you make sure you have what you need.  

All other materials necessary to make your completed quilt will be provided, and are included in the cost of the series of classes.
