Pillow Case Class - 3 hours long

Our Pillow Case Class is designed to be fun and approachable for everyone, from novice to expert sewists! This beginner-friendly class offers plenty of wiggle room on seam allowances, making it an excellent skill-building experience for those new to sewing—and a playful, creative refresher for seasoned sewists looking to use up their fabric stash.

Everyone leaves with a completed, high-quality custom pillow case!

We’ve taught students as young as 9 and as experienced as 82—and even welcomed those for whom English is a second language. No matter your background or experience level, you’ll walk in never having used a sewing machine (if that's you!) and walk out with new skills and a beautiful, handmade pillow case you can be proud of.

Materials Needed:

• 3/4 yard quilting cotton or batik for the body

• 2 1/2" strip quilting cotton or batik for the flange (the little pop of color between the body and cuff)

• 1/3 yard quilting cotton or batik for the cuff (the open end of the pillow case)

Cancellation Policy:
If you need to cancel your registration, refunds are available if we are notified at least 72 hours in advance and your spot can be filled. If we cannot fill the spot, or if you cancel within 72 hours of the class, we will issue store credit instead. In the event of a weather-related cancellation, we will either reschedule the class or issue store credit. Classes with fewer than three students may be canceled at the shop’s discretion, with credit offered toward a future class.
